With the right platform, real assets is poised for real growth. Warren Wachsberger tells Bloomberg News at the Milken Institute's Global Conference, "In the 2010s you were we rewarded by having a balance sheet. You were riding an escalator up and you just had to stand there and you'd get return. Today, you have to walk up the stairs: you actually have to do the work. That specialization, understanding the micro markets, and bringing capital plus expertise is what really drives the alpha."
